Heavy Duty Magnetic Drum Pulley Assemblies
|
| |
|
 |
Description |
Straight
face drum pulley assemblies with permanent ceramic
magnets inside a stainless steel rim that meet CEMA
(Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association) application
standards for use with conveyor belts rated up to
750 PIW (Pounds per Inch of Belt Width) or 61 kN/m.

 |
Features/Benefits |
The
DODGE Magnetic Envelope is the best because the magnets
are arranged in a proprietary pattern that projects
the flux density out several inches from the rim.
The alternating positive and negative forces tumble
iron particles and pieces within the heap of bulk
material, bringing them directly against the belt
by the time they reach the 12 o'clock position of
the drum. The gauss is highest at the rim surface,
ranging from 1,400-1,800 depending upon pulley size.
The envelope holds the iron tightly until it reaches
the 7 o'clock position and the moving belt peels it
away from the magnetic drum. Centrifugal force "shoots"
the nonferrous bulk product off at the 2-3 o'clock
position. HE (High Endurance) 14 degree taper bushings
impart the lowest installation bellows stress of any
taper bushing shaft mounting system for 2 hub pulley
applications.
