Description

V-Groove sheaves and matching V-Belts used to transmit rotating mechanical power between two shafts on medium to high speed applications.

Features/Benefits

Economical cost per HP transmitted. Shock load and vibration isolation. Clean, quiet operation. Capable of up to 1/2 deg misalignment.

Technical data

Stock drive selections covering 1 HP to over 1000 HP application range. 25,000 hours average life with proper selection, installation and maintenance. Speed reduction or speed increase ratios of 1:1 to over 6:1 available. Manufactured to MPTA (Mechanical Power Transmission Association) industry standards. 92% to 95% drive efficiency is typical.

  • Classical and wedge style groove profiles
  • Stock sizes from one to twelve grooves, 1.5" to 71" in diameter
  • Available in QD and Taper-Lock bushed or finished bore

V-Belts
  • Classical A-B-C-D or Narrow 3V-5V-8V single belts, Polyband multiple-strand belts, lengths from 22" to 660"
  • Belts are available in standard or cogged versions, double V (hex) belts, and are made of neoprene rubber with polyester cord and conform to RMA standards
